In fact, our AI tools have been used more than 10 billion times to date.
Our AI journey
Our commitment to AI started several years ago with the aim of making design AI accessible to everyone. In 2019, we launched our first AI tool, the incredibly popular Background Remover
, and in 2021, we welcomed visual AI company Kaleido to Canva. By 2022, we were among the first to offer native AI tools with the launch of Text to Image (now Magic Media). Fast forward to 2023, and Magic Studio accelerated our vision of an all-in-one AI offering, making Canva the go-to platform for AI design tools.
